I recently found a few older Rayman things from the 90's & 2000s on Youtube, and I'd like to share and talk about some of them.
This "rare" French commerical for the original Rayman that also has a English dub. This seems to be aired right around 1995-1996, when the first Rayman game came out. The odd thing is all the ports are advertised, but not the Atari jaguar's port. Why? Well most likely because the Jaguar did the worse out of all listed consoles. The Atari Jaguar sold about an estimated 150,000 to 250,000 units in the span of three years (1993-1996.) The Sega Saturn sold around 9.26 million units, and the original Playstation sold 102.49 million units while on the market. Along with this, it seemed Ubisoft when making this commerical knew that the atari jaguar would soon discontinue production, this theory especially holds weight if the commerical aired in 1996.

The next piece of media I'd like to share is the Rayman animated series, which you can watch the entirety of here. (In HD too! Fancy!) This series is a 3D animated show with only four episodes (almost the same amount as "Ren and stimpy adult party show." I guess the Rayman show was just LEGUES better because atleast all of it's episodes AIRED.) It was only aired in Germany and France (Super RTL in Germany and Gulli in France,) but never aired in North America, only released on VHS. The series began in 1999, and ended shortly after... in 1999. There was never a DVD release for North America, only France. The show features no characters from the games other than Rayman himself. The plot is Rayman gets brought into a circus as a new preformer and escapes with the other prisoners. It's a kids show. There's not much info on it's production other than the voice actors, most being from Nick.
